Pretty Pushers Cotton Jersey Labor Gown Plus Size
For labor and the first 1/2 day after I wore the hospital gown. However, then it just got too uncomfortable, especially trying to get the hang of breastfeeding. Whoever designs the dresses has no concept of the reality of breastfeeding a floppy newborn After that, I put on my own Labor Gown and was much, much more comfortable. It should open in the front if you want to breastfeed or have skin to skin contact right. Plus, birthing gown makes your first pictures while holding your baby that much more fantastic! It is such a special moment why wear a labor gown hundreds of other people have delivered in?
If you like the concept of a labor gown but don’t want anything to get the idea, try a gown made just for women in labor. Pretty Pushers labor gown makes several feminine labor gown that is created with every convenience in mind. They tie down the front, so the attendant or midwife can monitor your infant’s vitals, and the child can lay on your abdomen for skin-to-skin contact before the cord is even cut.
The fabric was soft and comfortable and easier to pull down for skin to skin with your little one and breastfeeding just after birth. Rather than unsnapping the regular hospital gowns. Halter style top was open and comfortable, and it was easy to move aside when you was ready to hold the baby on your chest (easy access for the baby). Plus, the design style kept the ‘girls’ in place, and no bra was the way to go.
Belly openings were super easy to palpate your belly and put the monitors as needed and still be covered. Also, before the cord was cut, the child could get skin to skin on your abdomen. Back opening is easy to access for that, without having to bare her entire backside. With lots of colors and styles, you are sure to find the birthing gown for you. It fit great before and after! It also looks better if you gave any photos taken during labor and for right after when you are holding a baby!

ACTUAL PATIENT TESTIMONIALS:
“I got so many compliments on this at the hospital. I was surprised that the nurses and doctors had not seen this gown before. The anesthesiologist was impressed that he could so easily insert the epidural with the deep back. Skin to skin was perfect with this once Parker was born as well. I just washed it and will use it again with number 2. SOOOO much more comfortable (and stylish! Although that was not my purpose for the purchase) than a hospital gown!” ByMegan
“I bought Pretty Pushers Cotton Jersey Labor Gown (blue) for my sister and she loved it… Highly recommend for expectant mommies to try. Easy access for monitors, epiderals, and nursing when a baby is born, and it makes you feel pretty having something other than a hospital gown on.” ByBrandi Stephens
- Typical looking fabric
- Do not like the style of the top. Does not provide support and my bra straps (needed due to the lack of support) definitely will show. Only three stars for this reason.
- Ties around the neck and the ties can be untied for breastfeeding or to undress.
- Has a low back with a tie. Labor gown will allow untying for an epidural
- Has a slit in the tummy with ties to hold it shut, to allow for the baby monitor. Slit goes a tiny too low in the front.
Pretty Pushers Cotton Jersey Labor Gown Plus Size would be the best idea so that you can move around in it. Pretty Pushers labor & delivery gowns are designed with an opening in the front for fetal monitors, a low-cut back for epidural access (if needed), and a halter tie neck for size adjustment and immediate skin-to-skin access after delivery so you are not exposed like in a regular hospital gown.
I would recommend bringing a couple, in case you decide to go in the bath during labor or to have one to wear after delivery. Your gown is perfect, don’t forget to bring socks or slippers that you can throw away. You do not want to bring hospital germs home. Oh, and remember to bring shampoo/conditioner and your soap. Good Luck!
