Leachco Snoogle Total Best body pillow for pregnancy reviews: Safe sleep positions & getting comfortable
It can be hard to get sleep positions that are comfortable during the third trimester, and by this step in your pregnancy, you may have concluded that no position is comfortable to maintain for an entire night. Most women get the best position is lying on their side with their upper leg bent with pillows helping the knee, which makes room for their abdomen. As well as helping your growing bump, this position also takes the weight off your back and doesn’t restrict your circulation. You could put a pillow under your stomach for additional support.
Achieving a decent night’s sleep at the end of pregnancy can be challenging as your stomach limits your options. Lying on one side with supporting pillows is usually most convenient. Use a body pillow. Remember that you need to sleep on your side, not your back. Pillows propped in front of and behind you make staying on your side easier.

ACTUAL PATIENT TESTIMONIALS:
“I am 24 weeks pregnant and started tossin and turning a lot during my sleep and just having a hard time getting comfortable. I was using 3 pillows every night to try and find comfort! My girlfriend told me that I needed to invest in a prego pillow so I started comparing on Amazon and found the Snoogle.
When it arrived, my partner and I laughed and mocked it. How could this solve all my problems? Well, it has. Don’t tell him but it is a much better cuddling companion. I do not need to use any of my pillows as the shape includes head support and also between the leg support. I have slept with it for over a week now and tried it in different positions (wound up and used for sitting up, partially sitting up support and between the leg support) and all positions are extremely comfy! I am really just hoping the stiffness of the pillow lasts and doesn’t end up flat (like most pillows do) but time will tell!
This truly has given me the comfort I was struggling for each night, and I am glad I had bought this before my baby grew any larger in me! Sleep is SO important ladies! Moreover, anything that will help you get better sleep is worth trying!
ALSO, I was worried that these pillows would be too large and take up the whole bed but this is a perfect size! It is not overwhelming, and my partner has not complained once (queen size bed) “ByAmanda
“I had a hard time getting comfortable at night until I bought this pillow. I had many pillows in my bed and was moving them around every which way – behind my back, between my legs, under my head… but if one moved or be out of place, it would mess the whole thing up. I was constantly yelling for my husband to fix me. Finally, we gave in and bought a total body pillow. He has not had to help me get comfortable since. Yes, it is hard to move around, but that is not because of the pillow – it is because of our large stomachs and heavy uteruses. Now if I need the pillow closer behind my back, I can pull it closer myself. I was also having a hard time staying on my sides. I would wake up on my back. This keeps me from doing that. I am very happy that I bought this pillow it was well worth the money – especially because now I can sleep!” ByJ. Pelham
Getting comfortable and Safe sleep positions in the third trimester:
This is more of a problem in late pregnancy when lying on your back can begin the infant to press on the big blood vessels that carry blood to and from the heart, making you dizzy. However, in a good pregnancy, you are unlikely to harm yourself or the infant by sleeping on your back. If you stayed on your back for long, you may wake up feeling awkward and change position anyway.
Often, the safest sleeping position is on your side, preferably on the left to make it accessible for the heart to pump blood around. A pillow under your belly and one between your knees can increase comfort. If you want to sleep on your back, put a pillow on one side to tilt your body and get the pressure off the large veins and lower back.
Relaxation As your abdomen gets bigger, you may find it more comfortable to lie on your side. Bend your upper arm and leg upward and place a pillow under this knee; keep your lower leg straight. Lying in this position eases pressure on the major blood vessels and the abdomen.
